The Norman Tel Aviv

The white city of Tel Aviv is home to a chic and glamorous hotel, The Norman Tel Aviv located near a picturesque plaza. On the walls, a lyrical poem from Norman Lourie, the owner’s grand-father, straight-away gives you the feel for the place… At N°23 and 25 of the Nachmani Street, near the art galleries and the Tel Aviv Museum, two listed historical buildings are connected through a fruit garden. The oldest building gives a glimpse over the flower-filled balconies and wooden shutters whilst the most recent building was inspired by the Bahaus local architecture for its restoration. The atmosphere of the Norman Tel Aviv recalls the 20s and features pastel tones, evoking spring and summer languish. The modern furniture and the bathroom with old antique bathtub and mosaics stand alongside each other. The gastronomy the hotel offers is quite exotic through its Japanese tapas bar. On the terrace roof, where the swimming pool is, we enjoy the champagne bar’s vintages whilst the Library Bar, with its looks from the 40s, invites you for afternoon tea delights. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes wild when the DJ makes up for the festive reputation of Tel Aviv. Finally, The Norman displays its unique character by offering some customised expériences : meeting with artists and visit of the art galleries with the curator responsible for the private collection of the hotel, bike rides in the heart of Jaffa, creative tour following the themes of perfume and oenology, trip to the market with the chef…
