Six Senses Laamu

The luxury hotel chain Six Senses, renowned for its interpretation of intelligent luxury, especially when it comes to ecology, chose the Laamu Atoll, located in the south of the Maldives. As always, the 97 villas, on the beach or on stilts, display some audacious spaces in raw wood, glass and bamboos, open to the outdoor and some large sofas with orange, taupe or aniseed green cushions. With regards to the gastronomy, Six Senses multiplies gourmet recipes with Indian and Asian recipes, Mediterranean flavours, ice creams with tropical flavours, more than 400 grands crus, organic cuisine and a cocktail bar where we can meet to enjoy a drink under the stars, lulled by jazz or soul music, depending on the DJ at the time… Although the Six Senses has a peaceful lagoon, it also is very close to a famous surf spot for the thrill seekers. This is where the famous Yin Yang waves, about 3 metres high, comes and go next to the reef, giving the surfers their dose of adrenaline.
