Cotton House

On the untouched island of Moustique in the Grenadines archipelago, Cotton House is the only luxury hotel – an intimate and exclusive retreat. This former sugar plantation from the 18th century has retained its ancient mill and its colonial spirit.

A beautiful mansion consisting of 17 villas, suites and cottages are set facing the sea and the bay of Endeavour, or in the lush tropical gardens. The charm of Cotton House is exotic, combining the spacious canopied beds with the mossy mousseline of the mosquito nets, the clear wooden furniture, the brightly coloured fabrics and the walls painted in pastel colours.

All the villas, suites or cottages have private verandas. On the beach, caressed by the transparent waters of the Caribbean Sea, there is the Beach Cafe & Bar, the Spa and the Nautical Club, where you can enjoy many activities such as scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, going on glass bottom boat trips, fishing as well as boat trips to the secluded beaches of Moustique or the surrounding islands where you can enjoy a private picnic and barbecue.

In the afternoon, we relax in the library with its parquet floors, its antiques, its unique furniture decorated with shells, its external gallery lit by lanterns diffusing a soft light through the evening, and where one can enjoy a tea served according to British traditions. The Spa offers different treatments and massages but also yoga sessions. Finally, the island of Moustique allows for other activities such as horse riding, tennis but also if you are a golf aficionado you might want to go and play on the neighbouring island of Canouan.
