Aqua Mekong

Ribbons of mist evaporate toward the metallic sky of Indochina… Like a floating palace, the luxury boat Aqua Expeditions already operating in the Peruvian Amazon, glides on the mysterious water of the Mekong, rich in history and nostalgia. It is the architecture firm of Saigon called Nor Design and its English architect David Hodkinson, who designed the clean lines of Aqua Mekong. The contemporary elegance of the tropical wood is omnipresent and filled with local craft and raw materials. Like the MV Aqua yacht and the MV Aria yacht in Peru, Aqua Mekong favours space and view. The view is panoramic ad gives you the feeling that you can jump at any time in the water of this mystical river. Glass walls cover one side of the 20 suites, some of them also enjoy a private outdoor space. On board, one can laze around the cosy lounges or by the swimming pool. The itinerary for 3, 4 or 7 nights navigates between Cambodia and Vietnam. As we follow the delta, the Mekong unveils its large jungles inhabited by rare bird and turtles, floating villages only accessible by boat, forgotten monasteries haunted by the celestial chants of monks, numerous Khmer remains or the pulsating cities of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Saigon. We glide through the gentleness of Indochina, whilst enjoying specialities from Southeast Asia prepared by the starred chef David Thomson.
